Remember Global Supremacy From: "Jim Leavitt" <JLEAVITT@satx.rr.com> Date: Wed, 14 Jun 2000 00:00:00 +0000 It seems like PBM is going the way of the Dodo. Anyone who played Global Supremacy and might be willing to give it a try again, please email me. I am coordinating with Barry Keen who runs the game as Northwest Simulations, Inc. to get him to start a new scenario with modified rules. We need about 60 people to make it work though. He has been running the game continuously for many years, but there seems to be a call for a version that limits the SPEND & CONQUER mentality. For those who have never been involved, let me give you a short introduction. It's a PBM or PBEM (players choice) game that simulates a battalion level global conflict involving every nation on earth (circa 1990). The diplomatic, military and economic simulation is intense and addictive. It is a commercial game that cost's about 30.00 a month, but well worth it. Hopefully, this scenario will allow a 25.00 credit at setup so people can become familiar with little risk. Please check out www.globalsupremacy.com to get access to all the rules and other info on the game. If you have played the game, you probably have good memories and might have wondered where it went to. Its still out there and every bit as good as you remember. Referenced By Up
