Q: Looking for (possibly defunct) fantasy strategic PBM From: Sten <stend+r.games.pbm@sten.org> Date: Sat, 12 Aug 2000 00:00:00 +0000 About 8-10 years ago, I was in a computer-moderated PBM whose name I can't remember, and I'm hoping that someone out there remembers the name of (and, hopefully, it's still running). It was an open-ended game, with no fixed turns (there was a minimum interval between turns, with a choice of games using either 1 or 3 weeks IIRC). You could have one or more armies, each made up of one or more creature types, ranging from humans to dragons. You only were able to see the area around each army, but you controlled any terrain hex that you were the most recent occupant of. Hopefully that's enough of a description to jog someone's memory. If not, that's life. :) -- #include <disclaimer.h> /* Sten Drescher */ [The Internet is] like a library in Resident Evil. - Mark Waid, 23 Aug 2000 Up
