PBEM 3E game looking for players From: "Nick Shaffner" <nicks@3drealms.com> Date: Wed, 11 Oct 2000 00:00:00 +0000 Greetings fellow gamers, I've got openings for 6 hardy adventurers to join my newly forming "The Night Below" campaign, using 3rd edition rules. The game should be a healthy balance of role-playing and hack-and-slash, so mature players with strong constitutions are required. Lurkers are more than welcome. My requirements for players are: * You must own a copy of the D&D 3rd edition player's handbook and have at least basic understanding of the rules. * You must not have played The Night Below before. * You will be required to post turns at least once a week. * You should be committed to taking part in what will be quite a long and involved campaign. (The Night Below typically takes characters from 1st level to well past 10th). * You should have a good grasp of English, and a have mature creative writing style. * You must be 18 years of age or older. Character Generation Guidelines: * All legal class/race combinations are permitted, though it would be wise to contact me before generating your character, as I am trying to ensure the party is balanced. * All alignment combinations except those containing 'evil' are permitted. Fitting an evil character into this campaign could be a bit tricky. If you are truly interested in playing an evil character, contact me, and we will find a suitably nefarious way to fit you into the plot. * Characters start at 1st level. * Distribute 75 points amongst your attributes, as you see fit. * You start with maximum hit points and money. * Purchase your character's starting equipment, weapons and armor. * You should provide a detailed character description and background. -- Nick Shaffner nicks@3drealms.com Referenced By Up
