Paper Mayhem-- Final Chapter From: kmgraphiks@aol.com (KMGraphiks) Date: Mon, 08 Jan 2001 22:38:37 +0000 I just got a letter in the mail today from Elaine Webber, the widow of David Webber who published Paper Mayhem Magazine. She first apologizes to all subscribers for the long delay in hearing anything about Paper Mayhem. She says that after David died in December of 1999 she had turned over the publication to someone else to continue (I think it's common knowledge that person was Kerry Harrison). She said after numberous attempts to find out what this person was doing with the mag she discovered that they weren't going to do anything with it at all. She then offers a refund to any subscribers still owed money because Dave was always upfront and fair with the subscribers and would have wanted it this way. There's a small section to fill out where you want your refund sent...and if you don't want a refund she says the unpaid balances will all be donated to the University of Chicago Cancer Center. She asks that everyone submit their information by February 28, 2001. In closing she again apologies for the long delay and hopes that in the past Paper Mayhem has been of some help to us. (Rest assured Elaine, it has) Anyway, I assume anyone owed money by Paper Mayhem will also be getting this letter. I just thought the general PBM public would like to hear about this closing chapter of a once great magazine...Paper Mayhem. Ken Mitchell Ken Mitchell Graphics Referenced By Up
