For a new commercial PBM in Europe, Flagship is a great avenue.  While its
numbers are small compared to total players, the thing I've found is that the
players who *do* read Flagship are influentual ones.

Players who know a lot of people, or whose opinions people value, or who simply
have a lot of flair to push a game harder.

The strongest form of advertising in PBM has always been word of mouth, and its
there where Flagship scores points.

Personally, I get very little response from Flagship these days, unless Im
releasing a new game or doing a big offer.  But thats just because everybody
who reads Flagship is either already playing our games, or has already decided
that our style doesnt suit them.

I'd advise *any* new GM to look to Flagship first for their initial push on a
new commercial game, and thats based on a decade of experience in all sorts of
advertising forms.
