(Ad)En Garde! in many different ways. From: "Brian" <brianjenk@home.com> Date: Sat, 13 Jan 2001 20:01:58 +0000 I just wanted to take this opportunity to invite those who remember En Garde to two places. The first is the Orleans En Garde PBeM game. It resides at http://www.hijenks.com/engarde The game currently has 62 players and is one of the larger En Garde games on the net. It is also listed on Greg's site. Orleans uses an expanded rule set on the original rules, including rules on church careers, the Royal Academy of Science, and Artists to name a few. The mailing list is very active and the turns run about every three weeks. If you have ever enjoyed reading the three musketeers or watching an Errol Flynn movie Orleans is a game you would enjoy. The other site is the En Garde PBeM web ring, the main page of which is located at http://www.hijenks.com/egwebring. This is a confederation of En Garde games which include variants also. There is a game in Spanish, one set in London instead of Paris with some really nice Naval Career rules, and variants in the Horror, Chanbarra (Japanese), and Fantasy genres. Any questions may be asked here (I check the list at least once a day) or you may email me at engarde@hijenks.com regarding either of the above. Thanks! -- Brian Jenkins ------------------------------------- engarde@hijenks.com ICQ#1202483 "It pays to be obvious, especially if you have a reputation for subtlety." Referenced By Up
