New: Talimorne (free, open-ended, email, computer, fantasy, rpg) From: lindahl@pbm.com (Greg Lindahl) Date: Wed, 14 Feb 2001 20:13:00 +0000 Name: Talimorne Email: shashjph@mediaone.net Frequency: Once every three days Type: AD&D Fantasy PBEM URL: http://people.ne.mediaone.net/shashjph/index.html Costs: Free! Last-Update: 2000Dec29 Keywords: free, open-ended, email, computer, fantasy, rpg Description: Talimorne was created for the sole purpose of enjoying 2nd Edition Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Role playing with others that hear the call to take part in a high fantasy gaming system. It is my pleasure to offer up a something that I, in turn, would look for in a game, such as well thought out scenarios, updated maps, NPC/monster pictures, completed archived turns, adding all posts offered into a well written storyline, and a web site that contains a detailed outline of the game itself. Though there is a rule system to be followed most of these will be voted on by you, the players, as I want this to be something we all feel comfortable with. For instance, the current cycle for posting is set at three days. You, the players have voted that it is required to post at least once every three days and at the end of that time, I will compile all the posts given then send out the Completed Archive (in Microsoft Word format) as well as the Preliminary Turn with any other material that fits the current situation. Lurkers are also welcome to follow the story and submit a character if they so choose under the following guidelines: For starters, I need a minimum of a single paragraph of your character's appearance, written as if someone was seeing him or her for the first time. This will help me place him or her into the current scenario. A well thought out history with a minimum of three paragraphs, detailing your character's life and outlook, as well as a completed character sheet that I will personally help you to complete. You will enter the game at or around the same level as the others in the group depending on your classing. So if you think you would be interested please drop me a line and I will add you to the list. Thanks John (DM) [ This is a new entry for the PBM List.
