Paper Mayhem/Elaine Webber From: kmgraphiks@aol.com (KMGraphiks) Date: Wed, 04 Apr 2001 02:35:57 +0000 I was recently emailed by Elaine Webber and asked to post this message to the newsgroup. ============= A friend of mine emailed me a posting you had on play by mail and paper mayhem; I was wondering if you would be so kind as to post the following for me. Thanks in advance. To anyone who was a past subscriber of Paper Mayhem: I want to thank all subscribers who responded to my letter (as well as those who didn't) for their kindness and thoughtfulness in regards to Dave. You truly don't know how someone affects your life until they are gone, and i'm glad he did have a positive effect on so many in the play by mail industry. I truly had hoped to be able to keep Paper Mayhem going, but with everything that has happened over the past few years it just wasn't possible. I also am thankful that i had the opportunity and funds to do what was best for everyone concerning the subscription $$. I have to say i was so overwhelmed by the generosity of individuals who felt the need not only to forgo their subscription $$, but to donate additional money on top of their subscription. I hope i've remembered to thank each of you personally. Dave would be happy to know that people still care about each other and have the kindness and generosity to help fight something that is need of a cure. Saying thank you to everyone just doesn't seem enough, but that is all i have except for the many wonderful letters that everyone sent to help me get through all this. Thank you all and hopefully in the future a cure will be found. Dave fought hard and tried to help find that cure, but unfortunately he couldn't fight any longer. I know he is looking down and saying something to the effect, "Wow the play by mail industry truly has some wonderful people, I wish I could have met more of them!" Again thank you everyone for everything, it really means alot to me that so many of you cared so much for Dave and Paper Mayhem. Elaine Webber ============= Ken Mitchell Ken Mitchell Graphics Up
