Description:

CITY OF THE WASTES is an Adult Play-By-Email (PBEM) game. This PBeM set in
the dark future of 2500 AD. Civilization as we know it no longer exists.
Over 400 years ago it was destroyed by nuclear war, famine, plagues,
pollution and social decay. Bands of brigands &; outlaws terrorize the
countryside, slave trade is prevalent in all forms and the Paradise (City
of the Wastes) is the only protection for many.

The setting is in the wastelands of what was once known as the Outback of
Australia. Paradise is the last stronghold of long forgotten tech and
knowledge. The once Corp retreat arcology has grown into a fortress city,
towering above the wastelands. It is controlled by cyber and bio-genetic
enhanced individuals. The City of the Wastes (as the inhabitants of the
wastelands call it) is the one place to go to trade for slaves, supplies,
water, information, whatever a man or woman needs. Paradise is the last
place where technology has survived the collapse that followed the last
great war 400 years ago, but the cost to acquire that tech is more then
some can afford or want to pay.

Rules are a hybrid system based upon Cyberpunk 2020.
