New: Sister Ships (free, open-ended, email, computer, space, rpg, abstract) From: lindahl@pbm.com (Greg Lindahl) Date: Sun, 20 May 2001 19:13:00 +0000 Name: Sister Ships Email: ereshkigal_nadaba@yahoo.com Frequency: one per two weeks Type: Star Trek URL: http://sisterships.cjb.net Costs: free Last-Update: 2001May14 Keywords: free, open-ended, email, computer, space, rpg, abstract Description: WHAT TYPE OF PBEM WE ARE The USS Isis and USS Nephythys are a Joint Simulation. This means that the two ships share posts and and OOC talk. In addition, interaction between members is encouraged and Joint Posts occur frequently as a result. We are free-form, which means that we, the GMs, don't often intervene to stifle creativity and work for a sim environment where everyone can contribute. WHAT'S CURRENTLY AVAILABLE Many and varied positions are open on both ships; including Department Heads on the Isis, such as Chief Ops, Security, and more. The First Officer's position on the Nephythys is currently open, along with Department positions such as Chief Security, Engineer, and more. Full rosters for both ships are available at the website above (http://sisterships.cjb.net). CURRENT PREMISE / MISSION The ships are on their first recorded mission together. They are bound for the Nexuus Colony, a place of diplomatic negotiations between the races. It was a cooperative effort between the powers of the many known races designed to help promote interstellar peace and harmony on the temperate M-Class planet. The Nexuus Colony is under attack. The enemy is unknown, named the Hostis due to lack thereof. They are dangerous, mysterious, and threaten the balance the Nexuus Colony works to achieve. Are you willing to join the fight against them? BECOMING A PART OF THE SISTER SHIPS If you are, check out the webpage above. Our age limit is 18 years, as the sim is rated R, but no previous PBEM experience is required. Posting limit is a post (per character) once every two weeks, but of course they are always welcome :) Hope to see you aboard, Captain Ereshkigal Nadaba Commanding Officer, USS Nephythys Captain James Dyson Commanding Officer, USS Isis [ This is a new entry for the PBM List.
