Arolos Weyr - we reached 100 members, now we want more!

After eighteen long and enjoyable months, I am glad to announce that
Arolos Weyr has now managed to pass the 100 member mark! And yet still
we're looking for more writers to join our happy not-so-little
community. Newcomers, and lurkers alike are welcomed into the insanity
with open arms - we're ALWAYS happy to see a newbie (you can tell by
the cries of "fresh meat!"..heh..)

So, what are we looking for, and what can we accomadate?

Holders, Crafters, Candidates, Brats, Riders, Drudges.. whatever you
want, chances are we already have a group of them you can throw your
character into. ;-) If I missed anyone.. you be sure to point it out
and I'm pretty certain we'll welcome whatever-it-is in too
<grin> That really IS the beauty of being so big, and
established so long - we do cover _everything_. No matter what sort of
character you're looking for, there's a community there you can join -
no fears of being left to kick rocks in a corner by yourself - no
sirree! This is Arolos - you'll be dragged out of
that corner and subjected to general excitement and trauma whether you
like it or not! Whether it's Hatching, flood, firehead, earthquake,
play, or kidnapping.. there really is always SOMETHING going on. We're
now into our third year of Arolos Standard Time - and our timeline
during those three years of gametime, and 18 months of RL time has
been packed to the brim. I can truthfully say that I have *never* sat
back and thought "I need to write, but there's nothing I can throw my
characters into"

If you enjoy a little melodrama, relish the thought of pushing your
characters to the brink, love seeing a full mailbox every morning, and
want somewhere with friendly, goodquality writers who never seem to
stop.. this is the Weyr for you. If you want a Weyr that won't die
overnight, leaving your characters in the lurch.. come and play with
us. If you're looking for somewhere with an active caring BoD who will
happily supply Plots for their writers to get their teeth into.. we
may be what you're looking for.

We will take you through your summer break and beyond... we will haunt
your dreams and teach you the true meaning of obsession..and then we
will sit on you and never let you go.
