Twice in ages past the fair land of Vaolrok has repelled the invading armies of the demonic Blight. Twice the land has suffered horrendous scars, its people killed and whole forests laid waste by the horrific conflicts. The Blight only seemed to get stronger each time they came. When the second battle was over, the Blight had almost commited genocide to a race of Lizard-men, destroyed many towns and outposts and reduced the Vaolrok Army of Light to a mere quarter of its original size. The nation of Arhinol, the greatest in the nation in the world and leader of the Alliance sent out its best surviving heros to find the source of the Blight. They did not return. However, the messenger hawk they carried had flown back from wherever they were to deliver one last message. Hastily written and covered in bloody fingerprints, it gave the time of the next Blight attack: 300. The King of Arhinol announced this to his allies and people, saying the preparations must start immediately. He founded many schools of different skills and when the rebuilding started he devoted a lot of time and money to research of new magic and weapons. Now, three hundred years later, the world waits tensely for the Return. When the nation of Theer does not return the King Blorc's messages, his worst fears were confirmed. The Blight had indeed returned. When a small outpost was destroyed with no survivors save a badly wounded bird messenger, the King knew the extent of their advance. Sending extra troops to the northern-most cities and evacuating small towns, all of Arhinol waits for what the Hands of Fate deals them. A free-form RPG with focus on creativity, wit and story telling. 7 different races, over 15 character classes and subclasses, various locations near and far from the frontline and GM posts at least every 2 days. Will you help in the fight and join the alliance? Or the world be damned and sell your soul to the other side? The choice is yours to make. Just remember, if you don't help defend your world, it may no longer be there..... [ This is a new entry for the PBM List.
