Do you have what it takes to build your nation's strength, tame the wilderness, crush your rivals and ultimately put yourself on the Throne of Cofain? This scenario is intended to be a player's first introduction to the COSMOS Fantasy play-by-email game system which is also used for "War of the Dark God". The small number of players needed also makes the game ideal for a small group of friends who wish to challenge each other! The game features four different player nations: The Blue Knighthood (knights in shining armour), The Red Warlord (blood, dust and war elephants), The Greenwood Elves (swift arrows and huge wolves for steeds) and The Whitehill Gnomes (small but fierce). You must build up your production as well as your armies and overcome not only your opponents but also the hordes of monsters inhabiting the wilderness and non-player nations opposing your inherent right to own their cities. Use your mages to soften up the enemy armies before you meet them in battle; lay siege to enemy cities or brave their walls in a storm; use your engineers or magical spells to tear down those walls before you attack. When the legendary Castle Cofain rises from its resting place at the bottom of the central lake after centuries under the water you want to be in the best possbile position to take it and put yourself on the golden Throne of Cofain. There are several variants: Play 12 turns for an introduction to the system, 18 turns for a chance to grind your opponents into dust, and 24 turns if you want to show you are the undisputed master of Cofain. Two-player and solo versions are also available. If you have not played a fantasy game at pbem.dk before you can take advantage of the following special offer: Play 12 turns of "Throne of Cofain" and get a 15% discount on your first purchase of a set-up and turns in "War of the Dark God".
