Somewhere New To Advertise RPGs From: "Laura Walker" <help@arolosweyr.zzn.com> Date: Sun, 08 Jul 2001 16:40:32 +0000 Do you own an RPG? Alternitively, are you looking for one? RPGPlug is a new site (we officially opened today - yay!) that has been set up with the aim of getting moderators and players of ALL types of games together. Yes I know this is done on a million and one sites. But we do have a few differences. *We offer the facility to receive and send adverts by email if you prefer, so you DON'T have to revisit the site over and over if you don't get the time. This will also help those people who, because they had email only access to the web (and had never heard of UseNet ;-) find a game. This also means less of a problem with "dead link syndrome" Yes, we've ALL had it - the exasperation of trying to find just ONE game that didn't die 3 months ago but the link's still up. *We're attempting to offer categories relevant to ALL games, and I mean all. Until now, games based on books, tv shows and anime always got left at a disadvantage because.. well, a lot of them don't really seem to fit anywhere. But we're attempting to cater to those too - we also have a category for 18+ only games, and one for games suitable for children so if you've got kids who like RPing you've got somewhere you can let 'em loose. *We have a chatroom where gamers can get together and just hang out if they want to. Or alternitively where they try and recruit each other for games ;-) *We're trying to do a healthy medium in moderation, where you can post freely, but at the same time our bright eyed moderators are keeping an eye out to stomp out flaming and spamming before it ever gets a chance to begin. Sound good so far? Drop on by to http://rpgplug.co.uk - and let the plugging begin! -- "Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?
