With the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941, and the declaration of war made by the United States under rule of Franklin D. Roosevelt have assured the American people into another war. Although many units were sent to aid in Europe, the majority were sent to combat the Imperial Empire of Japan in the Pacific. The United States, Navy, Army, and Marine Corps took part on some of the bloodiest battles even witnessed by human eyes, and in the end proved themselves worthy of global recognition. Beach Red is a role playing game taking place in the south pacific during the early years of the war, mainly the campaign of Guadalcanal. Players assume the body and mind of a United States Marine, fresh out of the States and into this hot and steamy hellhole of false hopes and failed assaults. Make friends, fight battles, write your girl, and hopefully board the bird enroute back home. Beach Red takes you there, with the brave souls who fought this monumental battles, in this monumental war! [ This is a new entry for the PBM List.
