AD: The Battlesphere screams its need for more players.... (web based) From: gibbons_jonathan@hotmail.com (Jonathan) Date: Tue, 07 Aug 2001 12:51:50 +0000 And another report from the battle lines, join up and you can get a taste of global war. http://www.faraway.co.uk/tartarus.html It's free, it's global, it's been running for years, and is hungry for more players. Jonathan Faraway Games ============(submitted to the warcry by clan FrostLords)================ Borzon guides his new Asp class titan forwards, the sounds and sights of the battle surging through his neurolink. All around him he can hear and feel the thunder of guns as titan after titan unleashes a storm of shells into the defensive line before them. He is admist a formation of Thorne titans, their purple and pink paint schemes clashing with his own titans colours. To his right a tightly grouped squad of Red Beard machines move south around the flank of the Drodge line. Selecting one of the now strangely dormant Drodge titans he raises his weapons, settling into a target lock in a smooth practiced action. He feels the surge of power as the guns charge, then hears the roar as the macro-cannons discharge. The Chaos titan shakes as the recoil of the shots pass though it. Borzon roars his triumph as the shells smash home into his target, overwhelming it's shields and causing the reactor to overload destroying the enemy machine. Cracking reports comming in across the battle net confirm his kill, reciting the litany of confirmed hits and damage inflicted. Borzon thinks "They surely can't hold out much longer, they're taking a pounding". He wonders why the majority of the enemy suddenly powered their systems down. Apart from a small number of Dragon Riders machines the whole line had shutdown. Dismissing the thought as irrelevant Borzon shifts his sights to a new enemy and impatiently waits for his guns to cycle allowing him to fire again....... Up
