New: Innocent Blood (free, open-ended, email, human, modern, rpg) From: lindahl@pbm.com (Greg Lindahl) Date: Tue, 25 Sep 2001 19:13:01 +0000 Name: Innocent Blood Email: InnocentBlood@genie.co.uk Frequency: Every Week Type: Crime Roleplaying Costs: Free Last-Update: 2001Sep22 Keywords: free, open-ended, email, human, modern, rpg Description: It had been four years since Max Devine, the wheelchair-bound founder of Devine Computer Industries, lost his beloved daughter Sarah to the notorious serial killer whom the media christened Judas. It would seem that her death was his last for Judas never killed again. He was never brought to justice. As the world moves onwards into darkness, the number of serial killers active across the world has increased. More victims are taken. More tears are shed. More innocent blood is shed. Until today. INNOCENT BLOOD is an e-mail based game inspired by books such as 'Silence Of The Lambs' and 'Kiss The Girls', and by television series such as 'Millenium' and 'Cracker'. Players assume the roles of individuals (any profession is allowed whether it be police officer, journalist, priest, psychologist, private detecive etc) summoned to Devine's mansion in London and asked to become part of an unnofficial law enforcement group whose main aim is to catch those who lurk within society's shadows, those who kill without mercy. The game will be split into different Scenarios (each featuring a different killer), and each of these are split into further Episodes, in which the team use their skills to track down criminals across the world. If you are interested in this game, please email me at the above address with a brief history of your character and an explanation of their personality. Why would they be of use to Max Devine? What are their skills? What are their resources (Do they have police contacts in Japan or access to media lockers in Los Angeles for example) I am looking for four characters and will pick the best of those that I recieve by the 10th of October. After that, players should ensure that all game turns are sent to the above email address once each week and I will then email you with a response every Sunday. Be warned that the tone of the game is extremely dark! Those aged below 18 years should not apply. [ This is a new entry for the PBM List.
