Description:

In March 1941 German High Command finally decided to send troops to the faroff
theater of war in Northern Africa. Before that, British General Wavell had
pushed a numerically superior Italian force across the Cyrenaica, stopping
only short
of Libya in order to release troops and material to the Greece/Balkans
campaign.

Suddenly German soldiers find themselves in a very hostile environment, led
by their tested but mostly unknown commander, General Erwin Rommel. In our
history they would march across the Cyrenaica and almost into Egypt - and
back -
four times, until they would be beaten. But this time it might be different.

Based on Pinnacle's Weird War II: Blood on the Rhine the heroes (not
Nazis) take
the roles of infantrymen in this fast-moving conflict. From attack to defense,
wideranging recon missions and finding strange sites and opponents anything
might happen.

Ownership of the main rulebook(s) is required as well as a detailed character
concept. The number of players might be limited if succeeding platoon
size, but
so far any interested and articulate player may apply.

Note: Although players are playing German soldiers, these guys are the "good
guys". We are very aware of history, but this game centers on the "weird"
aspect, not the political/historical. The world is shades of grey after all...
