I intend to use XML for data storage and transmission. My real goal is to write a cross-platform pbem client for wargames, but I intend to also implement some traditional games as well, for instance chess. If anyone thinks this sounds interesting please contact me. I am especially interested in finding someone who will implement a Windows version of the pbem client. I plan to write a platform -neutral protocol library and use SDL for graphics so that all of the code except the GUI is cross-platform. (I use Linux) My email address is jmccann@eskimo.com.
