Dark Game

I seek a dark game.  Dark fantasy, grim reality, shades of horror all
appeal to me.  No mind control, Star Trek, White Wolf, Dungeons &
Dragons, or GURPS!  I prefer free form, because frankly, I don't know
many gaming systems.  I will to do one on one or work with a group.  I
like a fast moving game.  I'm adult, mature, and can handle anything
you throw at me.  I'm not looking at writing a book.  So I'm open to
games that mix in straight "What do you do here" with prose.  But I
know grammar; I can spell; and I love to write.  I prefer a fast paced
game.  Let's be honest, I check my email pretty damn often and I like
to see movement.  But real life is out there and if it rears up and
grabs one of us by the head, I'll understand and hope you will too.
Hmm, I do want plot and a background that is realistic within the
confines of the chosen genre.  I'm not into super heros.  My
characters tend to be normal people thrust into extraordinary
situations.  Still, if you need an NPC for a particular role, say a
villain or sacrificial victim, I'd be glad to play such a limited role
in the right campaign.  If you're involved in a campaign and you think
one more character might make it work, I'd be glad to consider it.  If
you have ideas for one of your players and you'd like someone else to
help add a little life to the subject, I'm game to try it out.  If you
want to explore taboos or forbidden subject matter, I'm game.  But do
it with style and throw in plot and character development.  While I'm
female, I'm open to playing either gender and any style of character
in the right campaign.
