I dont agree.  Not naming sees more lame to me, as if you are willing to gripe
but not actually willing to give whoever it is a chance to state their stance
on it.

Its a tactic used in every business and industry on Earth.  This person didnt
tell you he was stealing your ideas, if I understand you correctly, but only
that he was checking out your game.  If so, thats perfectly legitimate.
Checking out the competition, possibly looking for ways to improve on what
they've done, thats good business.  If you've done your job right, they
shouldn't be able to get the better of you from that.  In the meantime, you've
got some money from them.

Take it easy, Andi!  Don't sweat it!  I get dodgy signups all the time which
may, or may not, be from rival GMs.  I happily let them in because Im confident
that they cant touch us.  Have some faith in your games, and then when this
happens you'll just laugh at getting your competitors tenner!

Stopping other GMs playing just seems like paranoia to me.  Let them come!  All
the stuff I hear about your game is very positive.  I cant see how anybody is
going to be able to do much to harm you.  take their money and enjoy it!  You
may even end up with good players from it.  (GMs, when they get enthusiastic,
make excellent players.)

Then you're in for a sad time of it.  Idea thieves are everywhere.  There are
very few with the ability and resolve to get the job done.  I've had players
leave our games and openly tell me that 'within 6 months their own game would
be ready and would take over the PBM industry".  Indeed, I've seen many people
on this list shouting the same thing.  Where are they all, now?  <grin>
