Featuring vivid graphics and immersive gameplay, BeerMogul will allow thousands of players to interact with each other daily by buying and selling beer. When players become a part of BeerMogul they are given 1 Million BeerBucks which they can choose to spend in any way - buy a pub, a bar or a brewery, then buy features for the new property to make sure it runs efficiently. As soon as they stock their cellar (pub and bar owners) or brew their first beer (brewery owners), they can become a part of the BeerMogul economy. Players use advertising and beer prices to influence the amount of beer they sell - they can even trade beer with other players in the game (in real time). Best of all it's 100% online - there is nothing to install because you play BeerMogul through a browser, and email keeps you up to date. It's also 100% free. "BeerMogul is our first fully internet based simulation game," stated Nathan Harper, RedMohawk Managing Director. "We are extremely focused on increasing the scope of the BeerMogul world, giving gamers a self-perpetuating online environment with endless possibilities." The nature of the game (simulation) means that players are actively involved, and want to become more involved over time. The beta version of the game launched during January 2002 has already attracted over 650 players, and has shown that the more players get involved, the more interesting the game becomes - the environment quickly becomes self-perpetuating and addictive.
