We have completed two seasons and are close to completing a third. GFL contains many top european leagues and we are currently looking for new managers. If 18 managers apply to join then two new divisions will be created, making GFL four divisions, each of 8 teams. League Structure/Competitions: GFL League The league consists of 8 teams in each of the two divisions. Each team plays each other team in their division twice per season (home and away). League Cup The League Cup starts off as four groups of four teams. Each team plays each other team in their group twice (home and away). After these matches have been played, the eight first and second placed teams go into the League Cup Quarter Finals and the eight third and fourth placed teams go into the GFL Shield Quarter Finals. The quarterfinals and semi finals consist of two legs, and the final is one-leg played at the GFL stadium. Promotion and Relegation Division One - 1st - Champions Division One - 6th, 7th & 8th - Automatically Relegated Division Two - 1st, 2nd & 3rd - Automatically Promoted GFL Supercup At the end of the season, the GFL League Cup Winners will play the Shield Winners. GFL Charity Playoff At the end of the season, the GFL Division 1 Winners will play the League Cup Winners. If the same team win both competitions, the GFL Division 1 Winners will play the League Cup Runners-up. GFL Inter-League Competition At the end of every season a competition will take place between the two divisions, each division making a team compiled of the best players in their respective divisions. Other Competitions The GFL may decide to arrange other small competitions that may be played during the off-season, there may be a continental cup at the end of the season, players forming team of their continental nationality. End of Season Financial Rewards Division 1: First - 6 000 000 Second - 4 000 000 Third - 2 000 000 Division 2: First - 2 000 000 Second - 1 000 000 Third - 500 000 League Cup: First - 5 000 000 Second - 3 000 000 GFL Shield: First - 3 000 000 Second - 2 000 000 End of Season Awards The managers vote for these first two awards: Manager of the Year - Who do you think has done the best this season. Player of the Year - Which player do you think has performed best this season. These following awards are decided by statistics: Fair Play Team of the Year - The team that has the least number of disciplinary points awarded during a season. Golden Boot - Top Goal scorer Golden Leg - Top Assister Golden Gloves - Most Saves Golden Globe - Top Performer The following are awarded for the above awards: Manager of the Year - �2m to team Fair Play team of the year - �1m to team Player of the Year - +1 to their main skill Top Goal scorer - +1 to their Shooting Top Assister - +1 to their Passing Most Saves - +1 to their Stopping Top Performer - +1 to their main skill At the end of each season, every player under (and including) the age of 21 will get a skill increase of 1 in their main skill. Sponsorship and Wages have now been added to the game. You must also manage your stadium. There is an active manager and agent transferlist and loans also take place. GFL is part of EICA, which is an association of leagues, which plays a champions league, EICA cup and international cup (between teams of the best players from each league) EICA is part of EOFA which also plays an international tournament.
