D&D 3rd Edn - Free PBEM - new group in established Late Romanish world From: "endie" <endie@softhome.net> Date: Thu, 21 Mar 2002 16:09:40 +0000 If anyone is interested in joining a free PBEM set in my established (now 16 years!) campaign world, write to endie@softhome.net The campaign world is not dissimilar to Europe and western Asia in the the mid 6th century, with the focus on the declining Brigantine Empire: like the Eastern Roman Empire at that time, the empire is in decline, and has lost its western provinces to barbarian incursions. Although still strong enough to defeat any single enemy in the field, years of civil wars over the Imperial Crown, interspersed with a succession of weak or temporary rulers, has left Brigantium vulnerable and crippled. Of course, this leaves vast tracts of northern forest full of abandoned cities and marauding barbarian bands; it also means crime-filled cities full of refugees, and political factions eager to recruit individuals for nefarious or recklessly dangerous missions. Have a look at www.roleplayingworld.co.uk if you are interested in seeing what I have put online about the world (as well as tons of other stuff), and have a look at the party details and adventure archives at http://www.roleplayingworld.co.uk/parties.html for a taste of what some other groups are like and have been up to (ok, so I didn't update for a while - too busy). Look forward to hearing from you! Endie _____ Leben lang die Umdrehung www.ntk.net - Injokes for Outcasts _____ Up
