Description:

Beyond the Stellar Empire (BSE) is an open-ended, space game, mixing
elements of exploration, economics, combat and role playing.  BSE has been
continuously running since the 80's.

Every player gets one free ship to use as long as they wish.  If the ship
is lost/destroyed, they can get another.

Players can join affiliations (groups), different races, or go out
INDdependently and explore the galaxy.

There are over 300 separate systems, each with planets and moons to
explore.  Some have never been visited by players since the game started!

Ship turns are submitted for 1,2 or 3-weeks worth of actions, at a cost of
$5/9/14 respectively.

City printouts are generated from 1-16 weeks, depending on the player's
desire.  All cities are charged $5.00 per printout.

You may receive your turns by email in PDF or .txt format, or you can have
them snail mailed to you.

You can download the rulebook for free at our website, or order a hardcopy
