Description:

Set in the near future, Nations is a game of Conquest and Strategy played
out in the real world. Players will each take control of a real world Nation
from which a grand empire may grow. In order to develop and sustain a
powerful empire it is necessary to trade, make allies, conduct research,
build Units, and flex your military muscle where it is needed.

Unlike many games in the genre, Nations does not rely upon hexagons or grids
that govern movement or define territory. The game maps consist of real
world geographical coastlines, borders and seas. It uses real world Latitude
and Longitude co-ordinates to determine distance between Cities, Military
bases and Sea-zones, which are the games locations.

In what must be a first, the NationsPBM team are going to open their doors
to the world during the entire production stage of the game, allowing you
the potential players of the game and other game designers who are
interested in helping, to develop a game that will hopefully include
features and ideas that people want to see in a game, not ideas they think
are silly and stupid
