New: American Front (free, open-ended, email, human, historical, wargame, rpg) From: lindahl@pbm.com (Greg Lindahl) Date: Wed, 31 Jul 2002 07:13:59 +0000 Name: American Front Costs: free URL: http://www.geocities.com/americanfront2002/index.html Frequency: whenever Email: jcbgiest@swirve.com Type: wargame Last-Update: 2002Jul30 Keywords: free, open-ended, email, human, historical, wargame, rpg Description: When the Great War engulfed Europe in 1939, the United States and the Confederate States of America, bitter enemies for eight decades, entered the fray on opposite sides: the United States aligned with the strong Germany, while the Confederacy joined forces with their longtime allies, Britain and France. But it soon became clear to both sides that this fight would be different--that war itself would never be the same again. For this was to be a protracted, global conflict waged with new and chillingly efficient innovations--the machine gun, the airplane, the tank, and trench warfare. America becomes the new battleground for the north and south's old antagonisms. Once again brother fights brother, friend fights friend. You are either a soldier/pilot/or civilian from the North or the South in this rpg/war game. [ This is a new entry for the PBM List.
