Commemorating A Great Battle One hundred ninety years ... a long time ago, but the Legacy and Horror of that Battle lives on. Borodino 2002 will serve as a multi-venue Historical Conference, designed to promote Napoleonic Military History and Historical Miniatures Wargaming for both historical enthusiasts and the general public. A massive tactical wargame of the 1812 Battle of Borodino is the event centerpiece. Over 100 pre-registered "wargame-participants" will refight the Borodino Wargame, while up to 20 Militaria vendors and up to 400 "registered guests" will also participate in the four- day event. Participant arrival and evening activities begin Thursday evening with wargames, exhibitions and seminars daily for all attendees, concluding Sunday afternoon with an "Awards Brunch."
