Description:

The Queens View Affair is a long running, fast paced, darkly humorous game.

It uses an unusual (unique?) posting style to drive the game, which permits
characters to genuinely converse with each other and with NPCS. The result
of this is that players post 2-3 times per DAY, although posts are
relatively short.

The game takes the form of a script from a play, with each post of the form:

Dave : Hey! [Waves to the others]

Posts are rarely more than a half a page long, and the turn around time between
a player sending a post and getting a reply is often measured in minutes.

The tone of the game is a cross between grisly horror films such as Seven or
Reservoir Dogs, and comedies such as Clue or Airplane. The player characters
are most definitely not of the clean cut hero variety, and are an example of
people who have had greatness thrust upon them. The characters are a well
defined, usually flawed and sometimes obnoxious group of people
 who struggle with each others' personalities almost as much as they do
with the
 epic battle between good and evil that they have found themselves in.

The game has been running for seven years, and currently has a vacancy, please

website. The mechanics of the game are such that they would suit someone
who is in front of a computer for most of the day, and would welcome
"distractions"
every so often as the posts come in. Although players post several times a
day, the game need not take a huge amount of time, and it is possible for
players to vary their posting as work/real life demands.
