New: StateCraft (free, open-ended, email, human, historical) From: lindahl@pbm.com (Greg Lindahl) Date: Tue, 20 Aug 2002 19:14:05 +0000 Name: StateCraft Costs: free Frequency: weekly Email: savantgames@transformation.co.nz Type: bronze-age city -based civ wargame Last-Update: 2002Aug09 Keywords: free, open-ended, email, human, historical Description: In this PBEM game you are the absolute ruler of a fledgling city-state on a largely unmapped and dangerous continent set in the late bronze age. You start with a map of your city and its surrounds. As well as the other independent city states run by other players, there are neutral towns, pirates, nomads, barbarians, monsters and undiscovered resources waiting to be explored. Each turn represents a period of time of around one year and will be one week in real-time - 6 days for the players and 1 day for the gm. Starting aug 16th with the 1st turn due 23rd aug - new players welcome after that up to a maximum of 20. We just finished the play-test and the players loved it and all want more... Email me for a copy of the rules and a turn sheet. To play the game you will need Microsoft Excel 2000 for your turn orders and results. [ This is a new entry for the PBM List.
