The Pagoda City Crime Wave is a PbEM, written and directed by Pratz Strike and Pagoda City Productions. In it, you play a thief/adventurer/mercenary in the Floating Interdimensional City, Pagoda City. The scene opens with your character in a meeting with many other figures and a representative of the Thieves Guild, who tells you that they are 3 days away from completely missing the most important contract in the history of the guild, and that you, along with all the other players have been asked here to work temporarily for the Guild to help them complete the contract. In your way stand the police, two armies, and oh yes, a city full of heroes, including the most notable, Pratz Strike, the Lead Citizen of the city, and general protector. Not to mention you have to deal, either peacefully or not so peacefully with the other thieves, who will certainly be after the objects of worth the Guild has set bounties on. Can you sucessfully get to the target, heist it, then get away without being caught? More to the point, can you do it 50 times over in three days? As the time ticks down, and the number of targets dwindle, you will be asked to both interact with your fellow thieves AND deal with whatever defenses the bountied objects have? The real question to be asked is can you survive and profit from the Crime Wave? The general feel to this game will be that of a free form role played action movie. All players will be given a base set of points and allowed to spend them in any way they can imagine to improve their character, and since the City is a interdimensional nexus of sorts, they may bring any sort of character they enjoy to the game. We will be allowing any sort of character that you can imagine, as long as they conform to the preset character creation rules discussed elsewhere.
