Each player controls one of the countries, terrorist organizations, drug cartels, oil corporations or media empires of the world deciding everything about it as he sees fit. Players submit their orders to a referee called an avatar. Turns are processed weekly and represent the passage of one week in game time. The game design stresses realism. The actions taken by the players in the game have the same effects as those actions would have had if the real world leaders had taken them. There are provisions for players to enter the game at any time, taking over the governments or organizations which has no current player. This not only provides an open-ended game environment, but also provides for replacements for players who drop out. [ This is a new entry for the PBM List.
