The game has also some major modifications, namely new maps, using the Diplomacy map to represent Europe within 1 province. The game is now simultaneous movement. Technology has also been added, with technologies that modify the combat die roll, leaders that modif combat in a number of ways, and new naval rules. We are using the Strategic Mapping Software from www.flyingzebra.com to view the maps and see where counters are, but not to submit orders. It is simpler this way.
