New: In Nomine Campaign (free, open-ended, email, human, modern, rpg) From: lindahl@pbm.com (Greg Lindahl) Date: Fri, 21 Feb 2003 08:15:17 +0000 Name: In Nomine Campaign Costs: Free! Frequency: Usually one per 3/4 days Email: thomas_bloom@hotmail.com Type: Darkly Humorous, Angels and Demons Last-Update: 2003Feb17 Keywords: free, open-ended, email, human, modern, rpg Description: I am starting up a campaign based on the In Nomine setting by SJ Games. The standard rules will be used. The setting will be in Hubris, a generic city with all the main features-characters will be newly assigned there, so they can explore it, and even add to it, as any suggestions made I will work into the city, as long as they're not too rare. Characters should be average 9-Force celestials, no Word-Bound. Both angels and demons are allowed-there will be two seperate sides in the city, both of which will hopefully be PCs. All Superiors from the main book can be used, but no minor ones from any supplements. Superiors from the net may be allowed, if I view and approve it beforehand. The campaign will be quite politics based, and will also focus on the two sides against each other, as well as having to ally with each other. I am open to new ideas, so if you have any ideas for a strange character, just e-mail and ask me! I will receive all the player's posts, and send out a post to each player based on their actions, hopefully about every 3 days, though this will vary with the amount of mail I receive. A couple of points- I am not allowing Grigori, or any Children of the Grigori Characters may not start out Word-Bound, though the opportunity to receive one may arise Characters will spend very little (if any) time on the Celestial/Ethereal planes, at least until I get my hands on the respective sourcebooks. The setting is Canon (or at least, that is how it appears....) It will be mainly Dark, but with the occasional satire. Servitors of Janus/Valefor are tricky, since they cannot stay in the same locale for a long time, but if you can work this out, you can play one of them. [ This is a new entry for the PBM List.
