But what�s it really about? It�s about a place called Port Orb, one of the most unusual metropolises ever imagined, which exists in a world whose name no one can seem to agree upon, a world still seen as boundless and one that many people will swear still seems to grow. Port Orb is what its name indicates-a large spherical structure rising right out of the ocean. Sprawling on the inside and the outside of the 2 mile-diameter sphere are the dwellings, workplaces, meeting grounds, and other facilities meant to cater to well over a million people. The port serves as a monument to the former power and majesty of its creators, a now shamed and exiled people who are among the few who know the true shame of the port�s origin. Criminals war for power or survival in the city's dark underbelly, a constant evolutionary contest that is survival of the most deadly and the most treacherous. Others make their fortune at untold livings in the seemingly boundless city, sometimes on the light of the great boulevards, some in darkened store fronts, others in the corporate halls of power which control the port. Others still merely live-sustaining themselves any way they can while enjoying life to the fullest extent...and any way you want to do it, a subculture exists for it.
