Formula One Manager Game From: Dwane Aldrich <aldrich@u.washington.edu> Date: Tue, 13 May 2003 20:08:45 +0000 I am looking for additional players to participate in a Formula 1 auto racing campaign game that operates through e-mail. The game has just finished its first season, and is ready to embark on its second. The game is based on a face-to-face board game commercially available. The e-mail campaign runs at a leisurely pace, and the requirement for player input usually involves only light weekly correspondence. The setup portion of the game will require more effort and quicker message turnaround, however. The game has two foci: the economic aspects of keeping a racing team financially solvent while trying to field competitive equipment; and the tactical aspects of planning and implementing a successful strategy for each race. Information about the details of the other teams is appropriately limited, creating a "fog of war" situation. If interested in participating, please e-mail me.
