Winterdeep is truely a unique game and experience; no other game on the web provides the strategic depth of Winterdeep. The amount of choices given to each player is staggering. And while other games may offer flashy graphics, Winterdeep focuses on immersion, strategy, and ease of use. Several features of Winterdeep: Twenty Unique Kingdoms Play one of 20 unique kingdoms, each rated in over 135 different skills and abilities. Each kingdom has a unique set of orders, abilities, characters, and victory conditions. Some kingdoms, like the Kalnel Empire, excel on the battlefield, vanquishing enemies with their well-trained military. Other kingdoms, like the Elinth, rely upon powerful and foresaken magic to achieve victory. The kingdoms of Winterdeep have been developed with nearly every type of player in mind. The aggressive warmongerer, the social diplomat, the quiet turtler, and so on will all find their niche in the world of Koli. Over 250 Non-Cookie-Cutter Spells (!) Cast over 250 spells that do everything from improving the food production in local villages to completely annihilating the entire population of a country. Some spells are so powerful that the entire world will be affected forever by their casting. Each spell has been individually coded to provide a unique gaming experience. Nearly every possible type of fantasy spell is available in Winterdeep, from spells that summon daemons, to spells that turn powerful necromatic mages into liches, to spells that reign fire down upon the earth. An Extensive Combat and Military System A complex military system ensures that each battle will be won not by luck, but by strong tactics and use of available resources. There are over 200 unique brigade types, from Allunial Forest Walkers to the fierce and powerful Fire Giant Vanguard of the Unified Giant Clans, each rated in several different areas. Winterdeep features a powerful and complex battle system that mimics the flow of battle during antiquity and the middle ages. Deep Economic System A complex economic system that relies upon traditional supply and demand to run. Players will need to pay close attention such factors as inflation, interest, deficit spending, and variations in the supply of trade goods. Certain kingdoms have direct monetary influence over the markets and lenders of Koli while other kingdoms will be able to forge vast monopolies over trade goods. Wage economic warfare and cripple your opponents! Detailed Relics Find and utilize over 100 unique artifacts, all with historical records, all created individually. Some artifacts are minor trinkets while others can shape the very world. There are currently over one billion different combinations for a single artifact. Over 80 Different Orders There are over 80 individual orders that a player can use to build his or her realm up. Orders range from negotiating between hostile armies and population centers, to denying other realms access to trade goods, to razing a population center to the ground after military conquest. Easy Turn Production and Input Winterdeep is fully computer moderated (100%) and features intuitive turn production and input. Step by step computer processing of orders ensures that all orders are entered in correctly and fairly. No code or text is needed to input orders. The Winterdeep GUI allows for an easy point and click interface while the turn results can be displayed in several formats including the standard PBM format. Turn results are descriptive with no code or blurbs to deal with. Battle reports alone can be over eight pages of story text long! Dynamic Game Engine Makes Each Game Unique Each game is unique. Locations, artifacts, skills, and victory conditions change with each game, as does the players you are playing against. There are many different types of game variations, including the traditional turn-based PBM format. Up
