Australian Football Electronic League (AFEL) From: kenspr@goggo.com.au (Ken Sproat) Date: Thu, 25 Sep 2003 04:48:36 +0000 The Australian Electronic Football League has been running since 1997. It is now just finishing its 12th season and is looking for new teams for season 13. Currently we have 4 divisions of 10 teams and are looking to create a fifth division. The AFEL is a simulation of Australian Rules Football. Each team consists of a number of players who are defined by six attributes. Thus the aim of the game is to arrange the players of your team in a line-up that will beat the opposing team's line-up. In addition to submitting line-ups, coaches in the AFEL have to deal with game tactics, injuries and salary considerations as well as drafting, trading, training and aging of players. AFEL is more than just a game due in part to its highly active message board. If you interested in playing AFEL go to http://www.vicweb.com.au/~afel. AFEL is run by Ken Sproat (kensp@webaxs.net). Up
