Description:

An Inkling of Darkness is a play by email RPG that takes place in the city
of London, in England. Although humans are still about, this RPG focuses
on the darkness created by vampires, witches, shapeshifters and fae. Here
you will find no vengeful vampire hunters, no forbidden love between
humans and vampires and no apocolypses.

Here the creatures of darkness exist together, hidden away from humans and
trying to live our their lives to the full. But as they do prophecies fill
the air and while some believe they are old traditions, others are firm
believers of the prophecies.

Prophecies
No one knows the exact words of the prophecies, they are just words of
wisdom passed down through each 'generation'. They were said to have
originally been told to priests and priestesses or the God's temples in
ancient times.
All that is known about them is that they are said to either lead to
ultimate power for one of the species or all, depending on what happened
during a ritual. This ritual involved one member of each species, who was
signified as that one member after a series of events said to be the works
of the God. Once again these events are unknown, only stories known by the
elders now exist.
But before that one can be found, five members of each species will be
born/created with heightened powers at various times and they will be
found during the first 5 years of the Millenium. It is now 2003, some have
been found but many have not.
