Imprint : Idea for a new RPG From: "Roy Pollard" <smith@thefeds.co.uk> Date: Sun, 04 Jan 2004 15:11:42 +0000 About Me. I used to run The Isles in the UK a good 10 years ago. It was similar to AEs, Saturnalia and Pangea and in general was well-received by players and reviewers. After a reasonably long illness I came back with the now-defunct Day One (unwittingly plagiarised from a series of popular books) and then Re:Gen which is still going well with a small player-base of around 40 people The Idea. I have the scenario, the game world and the underlying NPCs and organisations that will have an effect on the game. There will be few if any rules. The problem for the player will be waking up in a clean white bed, in a clean antiseptic hospital room and being told that everything's changed and everything's gone. The Scenario. Get out of the room and find out whats going on. What do I need? A few players to start off with. English-speakers, they should be familiar with the format and gameplay and player-GM relationships of the UK-based RPG PBMs that ran in the last decade of the 20th Century (sounds like ancient history). Prospective players should send me details of an interesting 20th Century person who they wish to play. This person can have a detailed history, or one that develops during the game Format of the Game. Like all the games I run there'll be minimal materials and the turns will be emailed as PDF files. Let me know if yr interested. Roy plod(at)ntlworld(dot)com Up
