Lands of Mist

The "Lands Of Mist" are so referred to as such because of the vast fog banks
that roll across the land. The heavy fogs that lay over the seas never lift
making travel by sea impossible. Any who have tried have never returned.

Now mind you this title only refers to the land as a whole. Each kingdom,
race and community has their own name for their particular lands. For
instance the mountain range that borders the human kingdom of "Londor" is
referred to (by them) as "Lions Teeth" whereas the elves that reside on the
other side call them "Nosira" or "heavens Reach". On the other hand the
small tribe of Trolls the live there Name them "Nogtook" which means "really
big rocks".(The Trolls call all mountains "Nogtook".

The lands are vast and due to the fogs few have traveled far from their
homes and know little of events outside of the area surrounding their own
kingdoms. There are exceptions of course.......

The "Lands of Mist" is a free-form play by email RPG that is just being
launched.

There is no charge to play this game.

You will begin your adventures completely independent of other players.
However you may or may not come in contact with other players in the future.
All players adventure in the same world, and even as vast as it is, sooner
or later you are likely to encounter others.

Your email will never be shared with anyone with out your permission.

When you sign up you may create any character you would like. The only
things that are required are name, race and age. However if you would like
you can include starting equipment, history, starting position, or anything
else you can think of as long as it keeps within the fantasy theme of the
realm(no lasers or airplanes).

Any additions to the game world will enter into the "official geography and
history" and will be apart of the game forever after.
