Description:

It has been two hundred years since the Seal was used to drive away the
darkness that threatened Avaria, the Blessed Land. And only then was it
used by the greatest power that ever lived, the Sorceress and Last Empress
of Avaria, Shandra of the Stars. The Seal was used to awaken the Anicent
Guardians, Beautiful Otherwordly creatures with the powers of a God, each,
unique in its own way, but entrapped and controlled by the Seal itself.

With the defeat of the darkness, the Seal was broken into seven separate
pieces, each piece was hidden throughout the land, to prevent the hands of
darkness from possessing such a powerful artifact. Legend tells that he
who weilds the Seal commands the Guardians.

Peace settled upon the land, unmarred by conflict ... for a time. But
peace, as all know, does not last, more so in the world of men.

In the South, in the Kingdom of Kraul, a new darkness stirs. The New King
covets the Seal of Life. He hungers for its power. A power that could make
him Emperor of Avaria. He gathered to him five servants, The Bane of
Darkness, all skilled in the art of necromancy and magic. To these, he
gave the mission to seek out and retrieve the seven pieces of the Seal.

And in the capital of Avaria, the City of Arendia, the Regent of Avaria
races against time to find the prophesied child who will once more wield
the Seal of Life against this new threat. He enlists the help of five
companions, The Protectors of the Seal, to recover the hidden pieces and
seek out the child who is said to bear the mark of the Seal upon his back,
a circle with the symbol of a five pointed star in its center and a
vallenwood tree growing within the star....
