Description:

A World Called Exile is a multiple player pbem role playing game
in which all players get a chance to role play as well as game master.
Exile is a world with innumerable gates that open onto other worlds.
Players can choose almost any world and get a portal connected to that
world as well as a few characters from that world. Players take on the
roles of game masters, setting up adventures for their fellow players.
Game mastering is rewarded by improving the GM�s player characters. Exile
runs on a d20 system. Come on by and check us out.
     Exile is mostly unexplored jungle teeming with dinosaurs and other
fell creatures.  Throughout the jungle at random places are portals and
gates that lead to different worlds. Some of these portals are permanent,
but many only open at certain times or only open once never to reappear.
Around many of the permanent portals small villages and towns have sprung
up.
     Enswathing the roads and towns is the jungle. Mostly unexplored, very
thick, and full of native dinosaurs, the jungle is also home to large
amounts of untapped natural resources such as iron and copper. Also
embowered by the jungle are monsters, people and even buildings that have
traveled through various portals and dimensional rifts.
     Time flows strangely in Exile. One person can travel a mile, hang out
for two days, and come back to find only a few hours have passed. Natives
get used to this. Needless to say, calendars and such are nearly useless.
The one thing that seems to stay fairly constant is long distance travel
time.
     Players take on the roles of a small number of characters that
control one of the portal towns. They go out and adventure for glory,
fame, treasure and to keep themselves supplied with Nexium, the rare
mineral needed to power their portals.
