Description:

Apostoloi Tou Tropou, or "Apostles of The Way," is a play-by-post
roleplaying game set in Jerusalem at the start of the Christian church.
Players are members of the church who become disciples and help to spread
the message of Salvation to the four corners of the world.

The game is not yet operating, but we expect to have it going by the end
of July. Those interested should check out the site and the information up
now. Much more will be coming in until opening day, especially during the
next week as we come up with more information on what the game is about!

There's a place for everybody in this game, and people of all types are
needed. When you create your character, you choose from 25 different
spiritual gifts that he/she can possess, talents granted by the Holy
Spirit, from prophecy to healing to speaking in tongues to wisdom and
knowledge and mercy. Players are asked to be historically accurate in
creating their characters, but we allow a lot of freedom in choosing who
they are; God chooses all kinds of people from all walks of life to serve
his purposes. The point is, though, that one person may not be a good
preacher, but they may be great at working with their hands. Another might
not be able to teach very well, but they may have a heart for making
strangers welcome. Everyone is needed in the Church of God. The only
requirement is a passion for His service.

We are looking for experienced players to spread the church out across the
Roman Empire and beyond, as was commanded by Jesus Christ himself. The
straight and narrow path is unfolding before you, leading down into the
future, and your destiny.
