Description:

Oceans of Domination is a geo-political freeform game that is set in the
modern day. However, unlike other simulations of this sort, OOD is an RTS,
meaning that every move you make is in real-time. Also, unlike any other
simulation, current world events will be present within the game. For
example, Coalition troops still occupy Iraq, anarchy is still present in
Saudi etc ... meaning that any nation can be chosen. Once in charge of a
nation, you may lead it in any direction you want. Some may choose war,
while others may choose peace; this is of course, your choice.

In addition to roleplaying your chosen goverment/country you may announce
new legislation and other initiatives, also taking the time to publicly
respond to news reports that will be written by the GM. Although, it's not
compulsory that you respond, failure to do so may result in more severe
consequence later in the game. However, if you reply you may well ease the
pressure on your rule, both nationally and world wide.

Another important part of the game, is the option to appoint other players
as ministers (foreign affairs/deputy PM/arts and culture etc) within your
government. Players who apply to fill these roles will be chosen to do so
by the leader, not the GM, although the GM will intervene if he feels it
neccesary to do so. Allowing members of your goverment to deal with
various news reports/broadcasts will help ease the pressures associated
with leadership. But be warned though, incompetent ministers can cost your
rule dearly and may even bring other nations against you.

Every other option available within the game will be described in full in
the rulebook that will be sent to you via email when you join.

Final note: all players are welcome to apply although I am specifically
looking for players who are creative and willing to stay with the cause.
