New: Kingsport (free, open-ended, email, human, modern, rpg) From: donotreply@pbm.com (PBM List Autoposter) Date: Thu, 26 Aug 2004 19:13:02 +0000 Name: Kingsport Costs: Free URL: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/Kingsport_rpg/ Frequency: at least 4 times a week, preferably more Email: demonics_inc zat hotmail.com Type: modern, horror Last-Update: 2004Aug13 Keywords: free, open-ended, email, human, modern, rpg Description: Kingsport was a new-england island town like any other. People for the most part were born here, lived and worked here, raised their families here, and eventually died here. Some lucky kid might graduate from the local high school and go off to college, but for the most part people were happy where they were. They were settled. They had roots. This was their home. They were all quite happy living the American Dream. And then they began to Awaken... Kingsport is a free-form pbem-rpg that may contain dark themes within it. You will play one of the humans within the town who might (or not) be slowly changing into something else. Demon, Vampire, Werewolf, Fae, whatever creature your imagination would like to explore. You will not wake up in the morning and *poof* you're a new something-or-other. The change itself is slow and over time, and you are free to explore what those changes bring about, and how your character deals with them at their (and your) own pace. You also do not necessarily have to play someone that is changing, but could play a non-changing human and explore what they have to deal with normally in their day to day lives; and how they handle seeing their spouse, offspring, or friends and neighbors around them change. ALL characters begin the game as a normal human. All prospective players are required to submit a character sheet for approval before posting; only made-up characters allowed. This game is rated NC-17 for the possibility of violence, gore, nudity, language, and adult situations. Please take this into account before you apply. [ This is a new entry for the PBM List.
