Eyes flicker open and light gutters like a fluorescent bar strobing reluctantly to life, harsh undiffused light blinking through the turning blades of a grimy window fan. Vision alone would be enough, but with waking comes the revival of other unwelcome sensations. The feel of icy cold air upon bare skin. The smell of metal and mortar mixed with the feral scent of animal musk. The sound of distant howling winds and crackling, cackling flame. The dream fades, another memory gone, another link in the eternal chain forever lost. These thoughts fade too; meaningless as all past things. The waker, upon waking, remembers nothing. Knows nothing. Only the now. Only the here seems to make sense. Though sense is a fable to eyes unfamiliar with unfathomable vistas. The dreamer becomes amnesiac. The Tower of Jericho is a surreal but compelling pbem with a dark theme bordering on horror. Players take on the role of a group of amnesiacs who find themselves on the top floor of a gothic tower and surrounded by a hellish landscape of dead mountains and lightning-whipped stormclouds. The only way forward seems to be down - but down to where? Players who apply should love writing, get a major kick out of writing good characters particularly, playing with other people and roleplaying in general. This isn't a dice game and there's no rules system, but it isn't freeform either. Players will develop their PCs and use their own ingenuity to solve the mysteries of the tower, all outcomes dependent on actions taken and decisions made. Intrigued?
