Free pbem soccer management league, vacancy From: "Gary" <garybrown@swessex.fsnet.co.uk> Date: Sat, 18 Dec 2004 20:38:37 +0000 A vacancy for a club manager has just arisen. SSL 2001 is a pbem football management league which uses the ESMSPLUS software. Here`s a brief explanation of how ESMSPLUS works. Each manager selects his team,5 substitutes and his tactics then sends them to the commisioner in the form of a teamsheet. The commissioner then uses the 2 teamsheets with the 2 team rosters to produce a match commentry, which is sent to the 2 managers. After each match the rosters are updated and players may be injured or suspended,or coming back from injury or suspension. SSL 2001 has 3 divisions with 32 teams in and there are 2 cup competitions. There is also a Youth league & Cup for players under 21. SSL clubs play in the "UEFA" style PFA competitions. Other features of SSL 2001 are: Player auctions held on a message board, managers bid by repying to the previous leading bid. Press releases via the mailing list. A weekly results prediction competition. TV matches with fees paid to the 2 clubs involved. Youth Academy. Scouted players. As well as the usual features to be found in most ESMS leagues: Player wages. Gate receipts. Transfers. Clubs finances published weekly. Take a look around the site,if you are interested in being placed on the waiting list for when a team becomes available, send an e-mail to me,Gary Brown. gary@ssl2001.freeserve.co.uk . ==================== Visit the ssl2001 website http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/ssl2001/index.htm Up
