Description:

In 2294, the uneasy peace between the Federation and Klingon Empire has
had a few years to settle. The USS Indomitable has been reassigned from
the Klingon borders to along the edge of the Romulan Neutral Zone. With
the change in location, a change in leadership also came about and the new
captain of the ship is a Vulcan. While the journey along the Neutral Zone
is planned to be for exploration and routine checks to systems along the
borders, it will likely be anything but routine.

We're a smaller crew with a slow, steady pace and a focus on character
development and maintaining continuity. We allow lurkers - both via the
web and email. We do not force a certain amount of turns/submissions per
time period, but do like to know when a player can be expected to be
absent for some time. All departments have openings for starting
characters.

Unlike a traditional PBEM RPG with a GM to whom all submissions are
forwarded and who writes up the turns, players are allowed to submit their
content directly to the game list. The two GMs maintain order, guide the
plotline when it seems to get stuck, and train up new players to the
format. The GMs can also proofread submissions for new players, if they
are unsure if they are going too far with a plotline or aren't sure if it
follows continuity. Script format for posting only; no prose submissions.
Rules, training materials, lists of NPCs, and information about various
departments are kept as up-to-date as possible on the site. Training is
provided to assist with character generation and help give initial posting
ideas to new players.
