Schematic Diplomacy map -- here it is From: jha@lfcs.ed.ac.uk (Jamie Andrews) Date: Thu, 18 May 1989 17:19:08 +0000 Well, I got enough responses to convince me that the various copyright holders probably wouldn't sue my ass for distributing this, and that there was enough interest to justify it anyway. Thanks to Brian Bowers, Doug Ingram, Kurt Schroeder, and Donald Daybell for their replies. I'm not completely satisfied with this, mainly because it's kind of hard to read, and quite different from the original format. However, I've put a lot of work into it, and I think I've reached the point where people's tastes would reasonably differ on the final format. If anyone wants to chip in and make a new version, go ahead. Also, if anyone finds any mistakes, by all means tell me! -- Regions with "."s are water. Regions with "="s around their names are supply centres. Regions are adjacent if and only if they share a "|" or a "-" on their boundaries. It's bloody difficult getting the connectivity right and the format reasonable at the same time, and I found that divide-and-conquer was the best way to do it.
